Farmworkers Collection / Colección de Trabajadores Agrícolas, 1970-1999
The Farmworkers collection contains photographs and publications about farmworkers in the United States, including migrant workers, and their struggle to fight for equitable and fair working conditions, including the unionization of farmworkers under labor and civil rights leaders such as César Chávez and Dolores Huerta.

The collection contains documents and photographs pertaining to Mexico, including maps and brochures that promote tourism in Mexico from Petróleos Mexicanos (PEMEX), Mexicana Airlines, Barbachano’s Travel Service, National Railways of Mexico, Dirección General de Turismo, Yucatan Trails Travel Agency, American Airlines System, various hotels in Mexico, Illinois Central Railway, Simpsons Tours, and United Air Lines.

The collection contains various documents related to Latin American countries including those in Mexico, South and Central America (Cuba, Haiti, and Caribbean Islands documents can be found in related collections). The collections are comprised of a variety of materials highlighting the history, culture, and study of Latin America. These materials have been acquired from various sources over a period of many years and are grouped together because each acquisition consists of a small number of items (e.g., a single letter, manuscript, or photograph album).

Braga Brothers Collection, 1860-1984 (significantly expanded and newly revised finding aid)
Records related to trade, manufacture, and cultivation of Cuban sugar. The records begin in the second half of the nineteenth century and end shortly after the nationalization of the Cuban sugar industry by the government of Fidel Castro. As a business archives, the Collection provides information on the manufacture and trade of Cuban sugar and the means by which Cuba’s annual sugar harvest was financed and brokered. The collection provides descriptions of the social, political, and economic environment in which Cuban sugar was manufactured. The collection is an important source of data on the international sugar trade and the commercial and financial ties that once bound Cuba and the United States together.

Florida LGBTQ+ Collection, 1955-2024 (significantly expanded and newly revised finding aid)
The Florida LGBTQ+ Collection contains newspapers, journals, newsletters, magazines, and other periodicals related to the LGBTQ+ community in Florida. It includes titles such as The Weekly News (TWN), which was the longest-running gay newspaper in Florida at the time of its final issue, and Mama Raga, a lesbian magazine published in Gainesville.
Sharon L. Cloud Papers Relating to Isabel Briggs Myers, 1978-1980
Sharon Cloud’s audio recordings, transcripts, photographs and notes used during her 1979 interview of Isabel Briggs Myers. Also included are a brochure, speeches, and other materials relating to the Third National CAPT-MBTI Conference on the use of The Myers-Briggs Type Indicator. Letters from Clarence G. Myers and Kathy B. Myers pertaining to Isabel Briggs Myers are included as well.
