Black-and-white Halloween event poster featuring a Victorian-inspired decorative border with spider illustrations in the upper corners and a row of flying bats near the top. The text reads, “Please Join Us For A Halloween Open House.” A large engraved-style jack-o'-lantern illustration appears in the center. Event information is arranged around the pumpkin: “2:00 pm to 4:00 pm” on the left and “Second floor” on the right. Below, large text reads “Smathers Library,” followed by the date “Friday 30 October.” Near the bottom, the poster states “Hosted By: Grand Reading Room, George A. Smathers Libraries.” Decorative griffins flank the lower section, and a bat illustration is centered along the bottom border. The overall design has a vintage Gothic Halloween aesthetic.
