David Snedeker Collection of Florida Stereoviews, circa 1865-1930
The Snedeker Collection of Florida stereoviews contains over 2,000 stereoscopic images from the late nineteenth and twentieth centuries. These images depict Florida fauna, flora, landscapes, architecture, waterways, and people, including African Americans.
Florida LGBTQ+ Collection, 1960-2021 (Bulk: 1970-2000)
The Florida LGBTQ+ Collection contains newspapers, journals, newsletters, magazines, and other periodicals related to the LGBTQ+ community in Florida. It includes titles such as The Weekly News (TWN), which was the longest-running gay newspaper in Florida at the time of its final issue, and Mama Raga, a lesbian
magazine published in Gainesville.
Jane Hiers Papers, 1955-2004
Correspondence, newspaper clippings, reports, committee notes, and other records related to Criminal Justice, Civil Rights, and local politics in Gainesville and Alachua County created by Gainesville local community activist Jane Hiers.

Jane Malinoff-Kamide Collection on Afro-Brazil, 1924-2023
An extensive and comprehensive collection on Afro-Brazilian literary history and general issues pertinent to the theme. The collection contains original issues and copies of Afro-Brazil newspapers; publications from Afro-Brazilian organizations such as the Sao Paulo State Federation of Afro-Brazilian Organizations; original booklets with historical content about the history of Afro-Brazil, artists, poets, and scholars. Original and copies of documents, magazine articles, journals, speeches, symposia and conference presentations. Documents include original manuscripts and publications of Afro-Brazilian literary figures and scholars; audiocassettes of interviews with scholars, writers, and poets; microfilms with complete newspaper issues. The collection includes several books, including a rare first edition.
