Join us for an afternoon with two of Florida’s outstanding historians. Larry O. Rivers (Associate Professor of History, University of West Georgia) will speak on his new book about civil rights pioneer James Hudson, followed by a discussion on the practice of history with him and his father, Larry E. Rivers (Distinguished Professor of History, Florida A&M University), author of Slavery in Florida (2000).
