Apply for an Undergraduate Fellowship!

Applications are now open for our two undergraduate research fellowships. These opportunities are open to undergraduates of any major, and provide the support and mentorship for students to create and conduct their own research in Special & Area Studies Collections.

Discovery Fellowships in Special Collections: A one-semester fellowship in Spring 2024 for students completely new to research. Fellows learn to turn an interest in a topic into a research project, and contribute to the Storied Books Blog.

University Scholarships in Special Collections: A full-year research project starting in Fall 2024. This opportunity is for advanced undergraduates looking to pursue honors research, get involved with exhibits, or produce original creative work.

Applications are due Friday, December 1, 2023
Please contact Neil Weijer, Curator of Rare Books, with any questions.
