Painting St. Augustine

A new exhibition at Governor’s House depicts Florida’s oldest city through the eyes and hands of artists. In the nineteenth and twentieth centuries, St Augustine’s environment and inhabitants were captured by visiting and resident artists alike. The paintings on display were selected from a collection of more than 1200 works depicting Florida’s environment, people, and history donated to the Harn Museum in 2020 by Samuel H. and Roberta T. Vickers.

Painting St. Augustine: Selections from the Samuel H. and Roberta T. Vickers Collection is on display though May 2023 at Governor’s House Library and Museum in St. Augustine. Exhibit hours are 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Wednesday through Sunday.
