This year, Special and Area Studies Collections is happy to host two artists in residence as part of the Coffey Residency in Book Arts. Denise Bookwalter and Paul Shortt visited the collections this Fall to meet with curators and look for ideas for their work. From children’s books to botanical samples, the contents of our collections will provide the basis for the artists books they are working on as part of this residency.
They will present their completed works at the end of the semester, but for now you can read about some of their experiences in our latest blog post.
