Rev. Alexander Linn among the Everglades Seminole

Our most recent blog post comes to us from James Cusick, Curator of the PK Yonge Library of Florida History.

During the 1920s and 1930s, Reverend Alexander Linn traveled through Florida to set up churches and Sunday schools on behalf of the Board of National Missions of the Presbyterian Church. Linn eventually photographed his travels, including his visits to families of Seminole and Miccosukee in the Everglades.

The set of colored slides has been digitized and can be viewed in the University of Florida Digital Collections.
